So beautiful piece my friend, sounds really awesome and gorgeous!, like very much the electric guitar use, that is not very usual in this style of music but sounds very great. The percussions sounds wonderful realistic like the brass, and the arrangement in brass voices are very professional. A pleasure to listen.

I'm happy that you decided to stop by and leave a comment about it. I was curious to see what artists that actually come from this style would think. You're right that the electric guitar is not typical for this style of music. I was looking through a bunch of Salsa music to hear if there were any guitar parts, and I couldn't really find any for inspiration. I wanted to combine Salsa with what I'm more familiar with and that is Blues/Rock&Roll. Even the chord progression is more Classical influenced and I wanted to marry the different styles together while keeping it mostly a Salsa piece. For the guitar, we found that it works best if it followed the groove of the bass because the bass plays before the downbeat as it anticipates it. I'm sure you know this as this is typical in Latin music. But that is not so much the case from the background that I come from.
By the way, I've listened to several pieces from your Jazz band on Youtube, and they are a real joy to listen to. I have much respect for your playing and sound. I'm hoping to hear more from you in the future.

Excellent work my friend, i like very much the composition, complex but smooth, and the sounds and mix are excellent too, congrats and thx for share!

Man this sounds very good!!, i think the mix of all sounds are excellent, so the composition of the song too, congrats!

Excellent sound friend!!

That guitars and bass sounds very good friend!, i like the two voice of the guitars at 2:05 part, i also like the anticipations in the swing parts. At 4:35 is very nice too, with that sweet melody of the guitar over the soft comp.

Excellent job, and good luck in the Bingo Contest !

Thank you :) congrats on third place!

Hi, first of all I have to say that the sound of that lead guitar is really cool!, as well as the second guitar, bass and the drums.

I really like the main theme, I think the modulation from minor to mayor you use to resolve to that part gives it a nice extra powerful sensation, also the melody of that part its very nice for me.

The guitar solo is very cool too, have that epic general sound, I really like it too, and the final of the song is very funny!!

350teric responds:

Thank you for the nice words man, glad that you like song. I was aiming for that epic sound all the way! :)

Hi, I'm just listening some tracks from NGUAC final round, I think you do a great work here, I like all the sounds and the mix, as well as the composition and arrangements.

The second chord of the main progression (e.g. at 00:31) sounds slightly dissonant but very cool for me, it gives the song a distinctive touch.

Also I like the breaks and the dynamic motions, especially that one at 1:45, which is a great support to solve to the strong part of the song.

Excellent work friend.
